Description: This is a 1/2 HP Permanent Magnet DC Motor with Solid State Electronic Variable Speed Control + 1" Drive Pulley + 6" Driven Pulley + 26" V-belt. Please read the specs completely & carefully

  • 1/2 HP Permanent magnet DC motor
  • 250 to 900 RPM no-load speed range when used with 1" drive pulley to 6" driven pulley with belt 
  • Clockwise rotation (facing end of motor shaft)(rotation can be reversed by switching power leads inside control box)
  • TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled)
  • 2 Mounting options on motor face as follows:
  • (4) Screws on the motor face in a 2-5/32" (55mm) circle 90 degrees apart
  • (2) Openings on motor mounting bracket approximately 3-3/4" (95mm) apart to accept up to 5/16" (8mm) diameter bolts 
  • 5/16" (8mm) Diameter x 1-3/4" (45mm) long output shaft with flat for set screw
  • Motor body is 3-5/32" (80mm) diameter x 5-1/4" (154mm) long with mount bracket installed
  • DC Motor control (solid state)
  • Input power: 110 Volts / 3.2 amps / 1 Ph / 60 Hz
  • Controls motor speed from approximately 250 no-load RPM (slightly delayed soft start) to 900 no-load RPM when used with the pulleys and belt provided (1" pulley on motor...6" pulley on driven device).
  • Control box measures 5-1/8" long x 3-1/8" wide x 2-3/8" deep
  • With safety switch, variable speed control knob, built-in resettable circuit breaker with fuse
  • With miscellaneous mounting hardware (nuts, bolts, washers)

  • Motor produces its best torque in the top half of its speed range

This is a complete motor / control package ready to be mounted to your lathe, drill, mill, or any other machine requiring a 1/2 HP variable speed drive. This system is brand new but will come in generic packaging.
