These cables are constructed from genuine 100% pure copper. Whilst CCA (copper clad aluminium) cables are fine for most applications they are not always suitable particularly for POE (power over ethernet) applications such as CCTV where pure copper is essential.

Please be aware that there are a huge number of poor quality network cables for sale on ebay. From the photo they may look the same as ours but we have seen many examples where the wire itslelf is nothing more stranded bare aluminium wire. This cannot be considered as cat5e and will result in high resistance and poorer transfer rates. Please be assured that when you buy from us you will receive a genuine UTP cable compliant with EIA/TIA-568B Category 5e
