You are viewing a listing for an aluminum mounting plate for use with old style Kino Flo lighting systems (below). This plate is permanently attached to the back of the Kino Flo light as shown in the picture. The old Kino Flo mounting system, with the always-breaking plastic grommet gizmos, was a disaster. The new, all metal locking system is light years better. 

The factory will not facilitate upgrading your old light and will tell you to purchase an entire new light for hundreds of dollars instead. This ingenious specially engineered plate, attached permanently to your old-style Kino Flo, will immediately accept the new style locking mount and lollipop. You can save your light for many more years of use for a fraction of the cost of a new light.
