And those two distinct lathing styles produce two different tones!!

This particular 20" does a LOT. Great, subtle stick. Billowing wash with a very broad spread-especially for a Dual Lathed cymbal.  And at only 1776 grams it's definitely crashable. And it's LOW pitched-it could even pass as a 22", but it has the control of a 20".

Weighing in at a THIN 1776 grams, this 20" hand hammered Mehmet plays like a remarkably COMPLEX THIN DARK SMOKEY Ride. As you can see, the top has two distinct surfaces that are lathed in different fashions. And it is heavily hand hammered all over-super wavy surface. Classic Turkish style. This 20" delivers an organic warm, broad and complex wash that has a hint of smokiness to it, but as promised, it remains controlled too, it's not a bull in a china shop! The attack is present and resides just above the wash...and you get that Classic Hand Hammered tone.

Fairly complex with a medium quick decay.  Dark and LOW pitched. Slightly smokey. Very responsive. Organic, earthy vibe that opens up and delivers more crash wash than an unlathed cymbal. Definitely Crashable. Incredible versatile. Gorgeous, lower register hand hammered overtones swimming about.
