INSTALLATION NOTE: The manufacturer says you shouldn't use these on the models that came with the plastic inner covers, which is sort of true if you don't know the following tip. You actually can use these on the bikes with the plastic inner caps without a problem if you remove the inner cap as well. Then replace the inner and outer caps with these caps and put a very small amount of silicone into the vent cut in the backside of these caps on the grip side of each cover. This is really simple to do and once the caps are on the bike you will never know you did it!
