Babylon 5 CCG
Single Trading Card
Autographed by Andreas Katsulas

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Andreas is a cross between apple pie and baklava. Attracted from early childhood to being on stage, he took theatre as an extra-curricular in high school, as a Major at St. Louis University, and received a Master's Degree in Threatre from Indiana University.

With never a doubt or hesitation, Andreas jumped right into the professional theatre world, performing in plays in St. Louis, New York, and Boston for three years and then a fifteen-year heart and soul involvement with Peter Brook's International Theatre Company, performing around the world with a challenging combination of improvisational Theatre in every imaginable circumstance and space, and "prepared" Theatre pieces in traditional, as well as unconventional, Theatre spaces, from Lincoln Center in New York and The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., to the "mean streets" of Brooklyn and marketplaces in remote African Villages; from elite Theatre Festivals in Iran, Avignon and Belgrade, to prisons, mental institutions, rock quarries in Australia, barrios in Venezuela, sewage plants in Switzerland, the streets of Venice, Italy, in the fields with farm workers in California, in the lakes of Minnesota with Native Americans, in snow, in rain, and in extreme heat. But never on a boat! Yet!..

Then, a part in Michael Cimino's "The Sicilian" brought Andreas to Los Angeles where he was immediately cast as Joey Venza in Ridley Scott's "Someone To Watch Over Me", and as Arthur, the chauffeur, in Blake Edward's "Sunset".

He has lived in Los Angeles since 1986, working in television and film (see resume of credits). and hopes soon to return to working in the Threatre. Which does he like best, Theatre or film? It's like trying to choose between apple pie and baklava. Andreas says, "Let's have both!"

About the Babylon 5 CCG Game:

Based on J. Michael Straczynski's popular SF series (including the short-lived spin-off, "Crusade"), this CCG with a story-telling flavor deserves its fan following. Precedence lost the rights from Warner Brothers and Crusade was their final expansion set; the game was produced from 1997 until 2001 and is still supported by numerous fan web sites.

The Babylon 5 CCG is for two to five players (or more, using the alternate faction rules). Each player chooses a different Race (Narn, Centauri, Minbari, Human, etc.) and is in control of the ambassador of this race. With this ambassador you will build a Faction, then set an Agenda for your Faction to pursue. By fulfilling your Faction's Agenda and accumulating Power, you will lead your race to a position of dominance and win the game. You may recruit allies (character cards) from among the other races, or try to rely only on your own people.

Will you use diplomacy, intrigue or military conquest as your stepping stones to power? Will you rise to dominance on your own merits, or will you seek the aid of an elder race, like the Shadows? If you do, beware, for there may be a price! Choose your actions wisely Your decisions decide the fate of the Galaxy.

About the Cards

There are various types of cards in the B5 CCG universe which will allow you the opportunity to perform various things at different times.

Below is a list of each type of card and what each will allow you to do and when they are permitted to be played. All cards have the following information on them when possible or needed:

1. Name (top)

Identifies who or what the cards represents.

2. Cost (bottom right corner)

The influence cost to bring the card into play.

3. Type ( center below image)

The type of card is listed here, (character, fleet location, etc.( as well as any other restrictions (race, etc.)

4. Abilities (left side of image)

Characters, fleets and locations may possess abilities (if an ability is not listed it is considered zero).

5. Effects (bottom area)

This area covers ant special rules a card may have when being played and what its effects will be when played. Also, any special title will be marked in bold type. The special titles will be used during game play at certain times when called upon by other cards or at specific times during the game.

6. Marks (bottom left corner)

Some cards are marked, causing them to have special abilities or receive negative effects.

Shadow and Vorlon marks cannot be found in the same playing field. Thus a player having Shadow marks cannot gain any Vorlon marks and the opposite for a player who has Vorlon marks cannot gain Shadow marks. Marks of Strife increase the damage inflicted during an attack. Other marks (Conspiracy. Destiny, Doom) have effects related to other cards played.

7. Caption (bottom of card)

Quote from the Babylon 5 Universe. Has no effect on game play.

Card Types

All cards in the B5 CCG collection are color coded to help differentiate them from one another. This in turn allows easy sorting and allows ease of play when cards are combined, joined or overlapped on the playing field.

Time Machine Collectibles(tm) primary business is autograph photo sales and movie posters. What makes us unique is that we work with the actors directly to create an individual OFFICIAL WEBSITE as a tribute to their career. The primary focus is on showing the overall career of the artist including a biography, filmography, upcoming appearances, gallery and autographed photos for sale, featuring many roles from their career. These websites are in essence, a partnership between our firm and the client. The client provides their involvement and participation throughout the creation of their site.

With sales increasing 30% per month, the internet proves to be the new frontier for worldwide presentation and sales of products. We ship photos to England, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Denmark, Korea, and the Netherlands, to name just a few, as well as throughout the United States. We offer retail prices to fans for single photo purchases and dealer prices as well for quantity purchases of 12 or more photos.

Many hours and hard work goes into creating each website. It’s always a challenge especially for artists like James Gregory and Jeff Corey, who have films dating as far back as the 1940’s.

It’s a fun project just trying to figure out where to start when they have hundreds of movie and TV roles to their credit. Often there are so many roles that even they can’t recall them all. Sometimes a client will say "It was just a days work", yet they may be referring to one of their most memorable roles. We have several clients that should write books as Walter Koenig has, relating the different experiences they've had in Hollywood. Some of the stories they have shared with us are priceless.

We now have over 40 websites and are looking forward to many more. Prior to starting the Time Machine business, I owned and worked in a family business designing tournament archery equipment for 30 years, acquiring over 15 patents during that time. One of our bows was used to light the 1992 Olympic torch in Barcelona.

We decided to start the website out of a desire for a new challenge, and it has grown much faster than we expected. It takes a substantial investment but has been a good business with a lot of great people to work with. The business was created in 1997, however I've been collecting since 1957. We now have an inventory of over 20,000 items, and offer both wholesale and retail purchasing; all sales being mail order.
