This auction is for one Authentic Hair Cut Autograph card of JENNIFER KORBIN. This card is from the 2012 Benchwarmer Daizy Dukez Trading Cards. The lettering are in Gold Foil at the front. The signature is in Black Ink with serial number #05/15, in NRMT-MINT condition.
Jennifer Korbin (born December 9,
1971 in
Dallas, Texas USA) is an occasional TV host, a past Hawaiian Tropics finalist and former Playboy and Mystique magazine model. This sizzling hot redhead has been all over the tube, with appearances in shows The West Wing, The Girls Next Door, and The Man Show. She is currently the star of the HBO/Cinemax collaboration, Lingerie.
Upon entering adulthood, Jennifer Korbin quickly learned how to balance
her modeling ambitions with her equally strong desire to study serial
killers. After completing a degree in interior design, she was inspired
by a viewing of The Silence of the Lambs to study psychology
and criminal justice, and she did just that at Texas Women's
University. At the same time, she signed a modeling contract with the
famed Kim Dawson Agency, where she got her feet wet in shoe and
modeling campaigns, but didn't find them to hold the appropriately sexy
edge that she was looking for. The edge eventually came from Playboy
TV, where she appeared in a series of videos like 1992's The Girls of the Cabaret Royale and the steamy film The Red Chair. Though she had the chance to possibly become a Playmate, Jennifer turned it down in favor of completing her academic studies.
By 1999, Jennifer Korbin had completed college and was back on the
modeling circuit. After a chance meeting with a pageant director, she
entered a Hawaiian Tropics competition in Texas and won, earning her a
ticket to the national competition in Vegas. She finished 16th and
caught the eye of the founders of Mystique magazine, a new sexy magazine with obvious Playboy inspirations. Jennifer posed nude for Mystique, helping the magazine off the ground and opening career doors that would lead to other appearances in popular mags like Maxim and Stuff. She would later appear in Playboy and also earn a selection as one of its Cyber Girls of the Week.
Having left her native Texas for the bright lights of Los Angeles,
Jennifer Korbin joined the ranks of the other young beauties in town by
pursuing an acting and hosting career. On the acting side of things,
she started with small roles and bit parts on shows like The West Wing, opposite Rob Lowe and Allison Janney, Action and Suddenly Susan, opposite Brooke Shields, while learning the hosting ropes as a guest host on Mystique Magazine TV and Wild On. She would also explore her comedy side by appearing on The Man Show.
With a standout portfolio in nude modeling and blossoming acting
skills, Jennifer Korbin entered the realm of steamy late-night
television, a medium that would allow her to flaunt all of her physical
assets and her new acting skills simultaneously. In 2002, she appeared
in two episodes of ChromiumBlue.com, an erotic series from the mind of
Zalman King, who years earlier had hired an unknown David Duchovny to read sordid letters (accompanied by on-screen sex) on Showtime's Red Shoe Diaries. Jennifer did try to crack the ranks of prime-time television one more time with a small role on 2004's ABC pilot, Patients, but the show never got picked up. She would remain under the television radar for most of the next five years.
Jennifer Korbin made her TV comeback in 2009 on the reality television circuit. She was a contestant on Solitary,
a FOX Reality Channel series where contestants are locked inside
isolation pods and must take orders from an electronic voice nicknamed
"Val." Jennifer didn't take too kindly to Val's requests and she was
promptly eliminated, but she ventured over to skin-friendly Cinemax
where she was cast as a model-turned-lingerie designer on the HBO
series, Lingerie.
