Only edition of this collection of kabbalistic discourses, unusual in that it was printed in the Unites States before the flowering of the Hasidic movement in America, by R. Israel ben Solomon Zev Twersky. Enei Yisrael is on man, the small world (adam olam Katan). The first title page has an unusual aquamarine art-deco frame and a grayish center with a brief text. The second more detailed title page states that this, the first part, in eineim, eyen kedem, eyen zalmon, and ayein zedek u-mishpat. The title page describes Enei Yisrael as a collection of ma’amrin, derashot, and be’urim that R. Twersky drew from the well of life and with thirst drank its words, words of his fathers that are words of hasidus. It reveals that which is concealed, interpretations according to the sages and hasidus, to help understand the words of Torah and of the sages, in the Talmud,, midrashim, and Zohar. It addresses the service of the Jewish man before his Creator, relations between man and God, man and his fellow. There is an approbation from R. Joshua Heschel of Manistritza, introductions from the author, followed by the text.R. Israel ben Solomon Zev Twersky (1900-54) was the son of R. Solomon ha-Kohen Schwartz. R. Twersky served as gabbai to the rebbe of Kozienice. In 1924, he came to America and became the Kozienicer rebbe in congregation Kerem Yisrael in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. This is his only published work.

For multiple purchases, we usually use Priority Mail, a flat rate envelope for $25 ($21 to Canada) can fit 3 Regular sized books and a flat rate box for $63 ($43 to Canada) can fit 8-10 books of average size. A large flat rate box for $80 ($56 to Canada is available as well and can fit up to 18 books, depending on size. Oversized books are more expensive to ship, please ask for shipping quote for multiple books in advance to prevent any misunderstandings. International postage costs are subject to USPS yearly rate increases. 


RETURN CUSTOMERS: Return customers get 7% off every order, from the second shipment and on. This is not deducted automatically, so please request an invoice and we'll send one over asap.
