Heavy porcelain bookends - each featuring a young Chinese/Asian boy holding a fan.  Unmarked as to maker.  Very clean white porcelain and all detail is underglaze.  The pink is vibrant.  Both figures are similar though one has a slightly more tilted head.  Unsure of age, but believe they are contemporary.

Each stands approximately 8 1/2" tall and the bases measure 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".  They are a bit rough cast at the very bottom edge and one has a small chip on the back bottom as shown; the other has a small nick on the very underside that rests on the tabletop but cannot be seen as it is on the flat bottom.

In person, these are stunning.  They are a lovely bookended pair for a mantle or other decor.  They shelve extremely well.
