At offer is a Vintage "Lisakki Jarvnepaa Oy" Finnish Puukko that is in excellent condition; but has no sheath. Lisakki Järvenpää is one of the oldest puukko making companies in Finland. Iisakki Järvenpää started as self-employed handcrafter in 1879. After a failed five-year experiment of working for knife factory, Iisakki started his own knife company in Kauhava in 1904. Iisakki Järvenpää could be considered as a history maker for Kauhava. Iisakki was asked to make knives for Prince Roayl and the future Emperor Nicholas II of Russia. This knife and a pair of Horse Head Puukkos I have listed in my Ebay Store came from an estate and were purchased new in Finland by the past owner.
