"Blood" is acrylic paint mixture that is dried onto the pieces so it won't get on stuff when you sit or brush against other people or things. It is generally only on the front.
Surgeon gown:
This set is like the disposable clothes they give you to wear at the hospital. Reminiscent of paper, but clothlike. It is 100% polyester, wash in cold water, line dry
The gown is 48" long and adjustable to fit up to a 48" chest. It can tighten up to fit as small as a 34" chest.
The mask is attached to the gown in the front and pulls up and ties around head
The cap is easily adjustable to smaller heads by simply folding it up at the edge
All the pictures are the same gown. It appears green or more teal indoors with a flash. Looks bluer in natural light.

These 3 rusted looking tools are what inspired me to make this costume!
I picked them especially for their creepiness and gave them special names:

Blue Gloves:
blue surgical gloves (non-latex) have the bloody treatment so you don't have to worry about spreading the gore.
No "blood" will rub off
Brain:
a 3 dimensional brain I constructed from 2 hollow rubber brain props. It is slightly smaller than an actual adult brain, but it gets the point across.
Squishy rubber with dense filling so it won't collapse and is squeezable and nice to fondle.
Tool Scabbard with Chain belt:
This is a hilarious piece to me. Have you seen those meat dept guys with their chain belts.
I found a great chain belt and made the scabbard to hold your surgical tool and brain prop.
Scabbard is black Felt and clear vinyl fabric. The vinyl has a hook tab of velcro at the top center to keep tools from sliding into each other.
It's ideal if you opt for a second tool or have another of your own.
Clear pocket is about 10" deep x 9" wide. There is a pocket in the felt top that can hold the Brain.
The chain is plastic but sturdy and clasps easily as every other link has an opening to click it together.

The hip is around the part of the thigh that includes the butt.
You wear the scabbard low like a holster so it doesn't matter if your waist is larger than your hip.
