FOREST GLADE

DESCRIPTION.

A super British Impresionist oil painting which dates to circa 1914.  This open  landscape is by Frederick James Hackman who was a London based artist. It is a good early twentieth century example of British impressionism. Housed within a fine  gallery  frame. The style is similar to The Glasgow Boys Scottish School - artists like George Henry. A well painted example of British Impressionism.

This is a lovely example of his work in very good  condition. It is a good size and signed.

Oil on canvas. Image size 20 inch by 24 inch and in very good condition

FRAME.
Housed in a good gallery frame it  compliments the picture 28 inxh by 32 inxh.

BIOGRAPHY AND EXHIBITION HISTORY. 

Exhibited circa 1908. Address 8 Howard Rd Walthamstow London. Pianting of landscapes in oils who exhibited at the London Salon.
