This superb vintage full length dressing gown/robe is by the late designer Oscar de la Renta.
In a pretty pale blue, it is made from silky quilted satin which is comfortingly warm and cosy, but also super-soft and light too. The trims are pretty white lace and the lining is light satin.
The robe is a classic button-through style, and looks fabulous on - really impressive! The collar has a neat lace trim and the full length sleeves have lace at the cuffs.
The front fastens with 6 big buttons and there are patch pockets with lace trim. The robe flares gently down to the hem, deliciously soft, warm and comfortable to wear!
Size notes: the robe is labelled Medium but will suit some Large sizes too. Measured flat and buttoned up, it's about 44" at bust level, so probably best for 36-40"-ish bust, more if you wear it open. It's full-length at 56" long, shoulder to hem.
The robe is pre-owned and in very excellent overall, as you can see from the photos, with the original Oscar de la Renta label. There are a couple of teensy imperfections and very slight wear at the neckline, but that's being very picky - otherwise it looks new! (Please see next-to-last photo.) The robe has been laundered for you and is clean, fresh and ready to wear.
A fabulous designer robe that's suitable for everyday wear as well as a special occasion. Just the thing to curl up in on a cold night, it is soft, stylish and unmistakably Oscar! Highly recommended.
