French Prime Minister who signed the Munich Agreement in 1938, imprisoned by Vichy regime in France and Germany. Daladier, French Prime Minister, was arrested by the Vichy regime & imprisoned in France and Germany until the end of WWII He had signed the Munich Agreement in 1938 and one year later led his country into war against Hitler's Germany. While in prison, he wrote about what had happened to him and his country, from day-to-day conditions in captivity and about what he could glean of the anti-Nazi war effort through newspaper accounts. 

CONDITION: Book is in near fine condition with a near fine condition dust jacket. Intact. Pages are clean & bright. No musty or loose pages. Covers are clean. Hinges are solid. Minor rubbing on lower corners. Dust jacket is clean. A couple minor scratches. Not ex-library. From a smoke free home.
