What is so special about this viewer? It is an later model, not often seen for sale. These later viewers are known for sharp & clear lenses and this is no exception! What differentiates this from other viewers is the black color of the switch and focusing.
This viewer has been serviced by myself ($75 value). I have done the following:
Disassemble viewer completely
Clean lenses
Clean electrical contacts
Widen apertures for "full frame" slides. You can view not only standard Realist format but also wider mounts like 7p (28mm) up to full frame (33mm). If you use these wider formats, then this viewer is a must!
Lubricate key parts while putting back together
Clean and polish case and logo
Repaint key parts of the interior with white paint
Put everything back together and check for proper operation
Installed LED bulb ($15 value, I offer these for sale on ebay)
You cannot go wrong with this! Especially if you need the wider viewing.
If you are not fully satisfied, I will be happy to take the viewer back for a full refund.
