Picture screw hanger old curtain tieback vintage 3 leaf clover top ructic copper

This picture nail has a fancy Eastlake decorated top with a copper finish.

*The head is clearly pictured so look close for the shape and condition.

* This picture screw nail was likely made in the early 1900's. They were used when a nail was left displayed above the picture and a long wire held the picture below the nail.

*It is iron with a light rust in places. Most of the copper has weathered away.

*Some people have told me these were casket screws?

*Use them as picture hangers, curtain tiebacks, ar any type of decoration.

* Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect. It is old and it will add an authentic look.

*It was used the same way as a picture nail but the screw was turned in and not hammered in like the nail type.

* The head is 1 1/4" wide and 1" long and with the screw it is 3" long.
