Omega Watch

Recent estate find. Measures in the area of 5/8” wide. Weighs 7 grams.

I wound the watch a bit, gave it a shake, and it started to tick. The watch has been ticking for the past couple of hours. I have no idea how accurate or well the watch will work in the long run. It has undoubtedly been many years since the watch was last cleaned and serviced.

The crystal is junk with awful scratching. The dial is worn, dulled and discolored – spotty discoloration, dirtiness … prominent wear. The case has a nasty amount of scratching, pitting, dullness and related surface wear throughout. Lots of wear. The backing’s lip is terribly rough, beaten with heavy wear from being opened many a time. I’m not smart enough to know if the crown is original or not.
