This lens’ manufacture date is based on lens serial number dating available online at the Hasselblad Historical website. In excellent used condition the Sonnar 150mm f/4 is considered by many the ideal portrait lens for the Hasselblad V System. Of course it is superb for landscape, scenic, wedding and fine-art photography or whenever the need for telephoto image compression or shallow depth of field is desirable. This remarkable Carl Zeiss lens is ready to provide any Hasselblad V aficionado with smooth focus and sure half-stop click aperture control. Cosmetically the lens barrel is clean, showing the paint wear and marks of normal use. The front and rear elements are perfectly smooth. There is minor internal dust that will not affect image quality.
