| This is an Authentic Large Old Enameled Porcelain Metal French Paris Metro Train Station Sign. Roughly translated I believe it means "The station is curved, pay attention while riding in cars". The city of Paris is removing these metal signs and replacing them with plastic ones. It is in good used condition with the wear you would expect for somnething its age.
