FINE C1880 FRENCH VICTORIAN 8 day POLISHED BLACK SLATE AND MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK

An Opportunity to Purchase a Good French Polished Black  Slate & Marble Mantle Clock Circa 1880s    
I have for auction in excellent working order keeping good time and in good condition a French eight day mantle clock the clock is a time piece this means it does not strike but just tells the time.  
The case is polished black Belgian slate with marble side pillars and guilded organic engraving, as an antique the clock will have expected age related wear with some very minor nibbles to the case (please  see all photos) rewinding will be required once a week with the key provided.
The original ceramic dial with Roman numerals is good with minor key wear around the key hole.
The French single train movement is in good order being recently checked and oiled
I will include a list of simple setting up instructions to get the best from your clock.
