3M™ VHB™ tape - Grey double coated acrylic

including Plastics, Composites, Sealed woods,
Glass etc.

more traditional fastening methods such as
welding, screws, bolts and rivets.

joint, no weld marks or heat spots, it doesn't

Surface Preparation for 3M™ VHB™ Tapes
Most substrates are best prepared by
cleaning with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol (IPA)
and water*prior to applying 3M™ VHB™ Tapes.
Surfaces need to be clean & dry for
maximum bond strength. Insure application
temperature is sufficient to build adhesion.
Adhesion Promoters: Priming a surface can
significantly improve initial and ultimate adhesion
to many materials such as plastics and paints
