 The auction includes over 550 lots of music history from the 1930s to today. Julien’s has assembled an auction to thrill the musical fashionista with professional and personally worn clothing of Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Dolly Parton, Madonna, James Brown, Liberace and so many more.

Beatles fans can not miss photographs from 1964 taken by photographer George Harrison (no relation to the musician) while the fab four flew to the United States for the first time. Or a dollar bill signed by all four Beatles along with legendary DJ Murray the K. The Beatles lover who appreciates rare vinyl will want to pay special attention to the “first state” Beatles, so-called Butcher album cover of Yesterday and Today. This stereo copy of the album was saved from the trash by an employee at The Modern Album company in Burbank, California and is offered for sale for the first time. In 1973 George Harrison founded the Material World Charitable Foundation to encourage the exploration of alternate and diverse forms of artistic expression, life views and philosophies. In 2002 Eric Clapton and Olivia Harrison arranged a GRAMMY-winning memorial concert called The Concert for George. Performers included Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne and many more who signed a poster that is now offered for sale to benefit the foundation.

Whether performing alone or together, Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack members electrified stage and screen. Julien’s offers a special opportunity to own a piece of that history with personal and professional items from Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. including: Sammy’s personal golf clubs, film worn and stage worn suits; Frank Sinatra’s personal clothing including personalized coveralls, Anto and Nat Wise custom made shirts.

Three very special charities have partnered with Julien’s Auctions to raise money and awareness for medical and social issues. The first is Music Rising, founded by U2’s legendary guitarist, the Edge, in 2005 to benefit musicians, students and choirs in the wake of the devastation caused by hurricane Katrina in the gulf coast region. The Edge has engaged the help of Robert Plant, Mick Jagger, U2, Green Day and so many musicians who have donated instruments and signed items to benefit those still struggling with the damage inflicted by Katrina. The second charity is The Milagro Foundation founded by Carlos Santana and his wife, Cindy Blackman Santana, to help underserved and vulnerable children. The Santanas have donated their own personal instruments to raise money for the Milagro Foundation and Casa de Luz (House of Light) located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The third charity, Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, was founded in memory of legendary vocalist, Ronnie James Dio, who lost his battle with cancer in May 2010. Stand up and Shout funds cancer research and with the help of Dio’s friends, fellow musicians — and a few elephants — who have donated guitars to this important cause.

The last session of this auction features an introduction to Michael Jackson history with over 60 items ranging throughout Jackson’s career. These selections include: inscribed pillow cases; signed notes, albums and tour jackets; The Wiz costume items; a signed invitation to a Jackson family party form 1973; record awards and many more personal and professional items from the beloved Michael Jackson.
