Henry Abe "Seven Star" Custom Rear Wheel for 1970's Kawasaki KZ750 & KZ1000

The Product: This is a new rear wheel. It takes a 16 inch tire. It is an aftermarket wheel made by Henry Abe. He called them "seven star". It is an aluminum one-piece cast wheel that uses the original wheel components. These came out of the warehouse from Dixie international when they went out of business.

Research: We found the part number "WMG027" on the package that you can see in the fourth picture. We found an old Dixie international catalog and you see that part number in the fifth picture. The catalog says it fits KZ750 1976 and up. The parts manager said that in 1976 the KZ750 was a twin cylinder model so he is assuming it will not fit the four-cylinder model; they came out in 1978. He's not sure how far up it goes but he thinks if it's 1977 and 1978 models but is not sure after that. Again, this is for the twin cylinder of that model and not the four-cylinder. The catalog also says it fits KZ1000 1977. The parts manager thinks it might fit 1978 but he's not sure. This wheel is made to take a disc brake. It will accept the stock rear brake rotor as well as the cushion drive for the rear sprocket from the original wheel.

Layout of Pictures: The first picture is of one side of the wheel. The second picture is of the other side. The third picture is a close-up of the hub on one side. The fourth picture is of the label on the box. The fifth picture is of the catalog that we found.

Condition: Although this is a new wheel there are going to be some minor blemishes and scuff marks and oxidation. This is been sitting in a warehouse for approximately 40 years.
