Brand new postcard of the Brooklands Miniature Railway at Worthing, West Sussex, explaining the following on the back:

The Brooklands Miniature Railway at Brooklands Pleasure Park in Worthing, West Sussex was opened in time for the Easter period in 1965 as a 9.5 inch gauge end to end line. It was later replaced with a 10.25 inch gauge setup, laid around the lake to form a complete circuit, re-opening in March 1967. The last day of operation was Sunday 23rd September 2018 where a final run was made for staff, friends, family and the local press. The demolition train is seen here on Friday 12th October 2018 (top left and top right) and Monday 22nd October 2018 (bottom left and bottom right) with the carriages used to transport the lifted track panels back to the locomotive/carriage shed area for temporary storage. Track lifting began at the railway bridge over the Teville stream on Monday 8th October 2018 working in a clockwise direction, finishing at the railway station on Monday 29th October 2018.
