FOR SALE - The ONLY Rolls Royce factory original pair of Silver Shadow front headrests available on auction at the time of listing on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk

We have not checked other national ebay sites - we are based in England but will courier this item worldwide via a 'tracked' service.

We are a new Ebay seller and have specially created an account to sell this listing and one or two other Rolls Royce/Bentley original equipment - listings will appear soon. We are not commercial vendors but have a private collection of cars and resulting accessories which are currently being sold off.

You will see from the photo of the original Rolls Royce Motors Ltd new car Order dated 26 July 1979 that a Magnolia hide upholstery with optional extra headrests was ordered. The car (pictured) was delivered from the factory in December 1979.

The car was then famously driven by the Royal Household chauffeur for the late Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II. Google search for Rolls Royce Silver Shadow HRH 8N to see images and links.

The car's hide interior including the headrests has been 'Connollised' at some point during this century; if you look at the pictures carefully, you can see the overspray on the metal parts. Fortunately these are hidden so the actual two headrests look clean and presentable when in-situ as a pair, as you will gather from the picture of the car. 

Both the headrests are being sold as they are not required for this car which is used for chauffeuring/weddings; many of the rear passengers have said that they prefer an unobstructed view whilst the chauffeur wears a hat so does not want a headrest constantly tapping the back of his cap, we have been told!

Silver Shadows from approx 1974 were fitted with the slots in the top of the front seats to take a head rest. These light coloured headrests should be easy to re-colour to match your interior as required or re-trimmed if you so wish.
