This is a 'Buy it Now' for an Second Anglo-Boer War Queen's South Africa Medal with three clasps (1st type Reverse, Ghost Dates).

1899 QSA with CC, OFS and SA 1901 clasps, with correct impressed naming to: 5480 PTE W. FELLOWS. RL. WARWICK: REGT.

Medal and clasps confirmed on two QSA medal rolls.

William Fellows was born in Birmingham in 1877 and was a Caster by trade. He enlisted aged eighteen into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment at Birmingham on 25 August 1895 for a six year engagement, serving with 6th Battalion, service number 5480. His service in South Africa is confirmed on two rolls and his papers, and that he was embodied on 14 December 1899, then was discharged on 27 August 1901 on completion of his terms of engagement.

The medal is in a nice EF condition, with the correct ribbon attached and some faint evidence of the ghost dates visible.

It comes with four pages of his Militia service papers with the 6th Royal Warwicks, which contain more information on Mr Fellows, plus two pages of the QSA rolls confirming his award and clasps, leaving plenty of scope for further research.
