Lovely Kate Greenaway beauty

12" tall, Victorian dressed lady doll, cprt.1982, by Royal Doulton & Nisbet (labeled) with fine bone Staffordshire china (bisque) shoulderhead and hands, cloth body, limited edition in Kate Greenaway series. She is also tagged: The MUFF and registered #1622, marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp, designed by Eric Griffiths. The costuming is hand sewn by the Peggy Nisbet Co. She wears a long wine color satin dress with pantaloons, lace stockings and black shoes and a long, pale lavender coat with peach lining, fur trim, puff sleeves, lavender hat with mauve feather trim and, of course, fur muff. Excellent condition, original issue price was $175. All tags present-no box. See page 253, MCD-5th series-Pat Smith for photos. She also has beautiful red wavy hair. (#3677) She is in excellent condition with no damages or repairs, no stains or fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
