Bing & Grondahl (B&G) was founded in 1853 and existed until 1987, when Royal Copenhagen merged with Bing and Grondahl. B & G, Bing & Grondahl refer to the founders: Fred. Vilh. Grøndahl (1819-1856), technical director; the brothers M.H. Bing (1819 - 1883) and J.H. Bing (1811 -1896) as economical directors. This figurine is marked with three towers in green. This hallmark comes from the City Coat of Arms of Copenhagen. ‘B&G’ printed below the tower in green, ‘Kjøbenhavn’ printed in green semi-circle and ‘Denmark’ identify production of 1962-1970.
