Up for grab is the "Self Titled" CD by Merchant Of Venus. Released in 1991 by Wea Records, Made In USA. "Merchants of Venus" is a wonderful hidden pop treasure. Released in 1991, it's not exactly the newest music you'll find, but it is melodic pop that is consistently excellent throughout this set. The opener "Say Aah" bounces joyfully with Brett Cartwright's lead vocals brimming with a sunny disposition. "You Can't Fool That Girl" is a bouncy rock rumba that throbs with sun-drenched vocals. "Surfin' the Milky Way" is a pop rocker that musically sounds like it could've introduced the "Friends" TV show with Denny McDermott's drums pounding out the staccato rhythm. "Walk On the World" is a pretty pop melody extolling universal love. The CD closes with its slowest song serving up Moody Blues-like vocals on "Run With the Ancients," "From the soul of Africa the drums are speaking, from the depths of the oceans echoes float, in the hearts of all mankind the rhythm is beating, from the earth all life comes, to it return." "Merchants of Venus" came and went in the blink of an eye.

CD is in Near Mint Condition, presence of few light marks that do not affect the playability of the disc while Covers (front & back) are in Excellent Shape.
