Here is an adorable, well molded, pink and white celluloid rattle toy from an extensive collection of salesman's samples obtained from the closed factory and were used as models in the factory. He has very well modeled features including finely molded hair. He is 2 3/4" tall, with an open/closed mouth showing his tongue, sweet floppy ears, nice nose and expression with a molded ribbon bow around his/her neck and is direct from the closed USA factory (in Leominster, Ma.* that closed in 1973 after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world). There is a molded hole at the base where the handle would be inserted at the end of the production. *In 1924, the Viscoloid company sold their molds to the IRWIN Corporation.  Puppy dog is in excellent (unused) condition with no cracks or dents, no hairline or repairs and ready for display.
