Offered for auction is the M.I. Hummel Eleventh Edition 1981Annual Plate titled: "UMBRELLA BOY" .   The 7.50 inch plate features a young boy sitting under a big umbrella. This plate is the eleventh edition  of a series of plates issued yearly. The plate is hand painted in bas-relief. The plate series is based on the artwork of Sister M.I. Hummel. The plate is in new condition, comes in the original box and the plate is approximately 7.50 inches in diameter, there are no cracks, chips or crazing. This plate has trademark number 6 on the back of the plate and the Hummel # Hum 274.  This plate came from the remaining inventory of my mothers shop and has been in storage since the shop closed. The box is a little dirty and shelf worn. The original issue price was $100.00.  Please look at all the photos.
