Inspired from the modern classic Sci-Fi anime / manga franchise "The Macross Saga", we present the VF-1A Ben Dixon Robotech figure! The franchise features a fictional history of Earth/Humanity after the year 1999. It consists of three TV series, four movies, six OVA's, one light novel and five Manga series, all sponsored by Big West Advertising.

This is the Volume-2 Ben Dixon, Masterpiece Series, VF-1A Veritech Fighter Figure. The VF-1A is a variable combat fighter mostly known as cannon fodder, and it has the nickname 'brownie', due to the light brown color on it and from the crews who had to clean the cockpit after a new pilot tries it out. This bad-boy is powered by fusion engines, and is capable of combat in space and the atmosphere. It's armed with missiles, a 55mm gunpod and a laser turret.
The pilot for the VF-1A is Ben Dixon, and while not the most talented pilot, he was well liked. Ben was a civilian who joined the force and was eventually assigned to Rick Hunter's Vermillion Team.
The figure is produced in 1/55 scale (about 9.5 inches tall), made up of 30% diecast and plastic. It transforms from Jet Fighter to Gerwalk (Guardian) to Battloid mode. Each one comes with a Limited Edition number and Certificate of Authenticity, numbered out of 15,000 piece limited edition. Extra features include: - LED light in the Veritech's eye visor, with power switch and battery hatch - Rubber tires on the landing-gear wheels - Opening cockpit with removable pilot - Optional cockpit heatshield - Detachable cockpit ladder - Ball-jointed hands with finger articulation - Wing-mountable missiles - Telescoping gunpod.
