This hard cover book was published by D. C. Heath & Co., Publishers, Boston, 1909.  The book is 5 by 7.5 inches.  It has embossed dark maroon cloth covered boards with black lettering.

The book is in fair condition.  The cover is very heavily worn, scuffed and discolored, and frayed at the corners and spine ends.  All pages are present with no tears or holes.  There are notes written in pencil on the endpapers and a few other pages with handwritten notes.  There is some spotting throughout the book.  There are also some water stains along the top page edges.  It is a well-used but still clear and legible old text book.
