Protect your investment! Even a low speed fall can cost thousands to fix. With this pair of frame sliders, that cost is DRASTICALLY REDUCED. These sliders are CNC machined from a solid bar of High-Density Delrin, and not cheap nylon. These sliders are a full
ONE INCH LONGER than our standard frame sliders. This extra length will keep more of your fairings off of the ground in the event of a spill. When mounted on your bike, these sliders will extend 4" from your frame. Please check my other auctions for other models of Frame Sliders and Swing arm Sliders. Compatibility:
This set of sliders will ONLY fit on a 2000, or 2001 Yamaha R1 sportbike. They will not work on any other bike. Please check my other auctions for other models of Frame Sliders, Swingarm Sliders, Bar Ends, and Clutch Sliders.
**NOTE** I have no idea why, but some of these bikes have 12mm engine mount bolts on the right side. This set of sliders is for the 90% of these bikes that have 10mm bolts on both sides. Please check your bolts before you order these sliders. If you have a 12mm bolt on the right side, this set of sliders will not fit unless you drill the right slider out and buy a 12mm bolt for the right side.
Installation Instructions: Remove your RIGHT fairing, and find the engine mount location where the right slider fits. The sliders are made for a specific location. They will only fit in one place, and in one orientation. Remove the right engine bolt, and replace it with one frame slider and included bolt. Remove the other engine mount bolt, and replace with the other frame slider and included bolt. Once you have the sliders mounted, you need to cut the right fairing so that the slider sticks out of the fairing. I would suggest using a Dremmel tool with a sanding bit. Gradually make the hole larger until it just goes over the slider. Re mount your right fairing and you are good to go. The torque on the slider bolts should not exceed 20-25 foot-pounds, with locktite on the threads.

(2.) This item MUST be shipped to the country your Paypal account is registered in. NO FREIGHT FORWARDERS OR THIRD PARTY SHIPPERS! If your Paypal account is INTERNATIONAL (not registered within the US, Canada included), there is NO WAY to have this item shipped to a US address if you pay with Paypal. We MUST ship to the country your Paypal account is registered in. An example of this would be if you live in Canada, and your Paypal account is registered in Canada, and you want me to ship within the US. Paypal will NOT allow me to do that, and I will NOT do that. This is a VERY common Ebay/Paypal scam. If you have an INTERNATIONAL Paypal account, and you want me to ship to a US address, you cannot pay with Paypal. Some other sellers may chose to violate the rules of Paypal, but we definately will NOT. If you cannot follow the rules of Paypal, please do not pay with Paypal.
(3.)Because of Paypal's Seller Protection Policy, items paid for with Paypal MUST be shipped via US Mail to the address that is on your Paypal payment. If your current paypal address is not where you want this item shipped, you must first EDIT your paypal address to the correct address before you send the payment. Please make sure your Paypal address is 100% correct BEFORE sending your payment. If you send a payment with a bad address on it, and the item gets returned to me by the post office, you will be required to pay for the reshipment of the item, so double check your address on the payment before you send the payment.
