This is a Face plate kit. One Golden Star Fleet Logo Plate, one white face plate and 2 (1 spare) retaining plate. It is resembling the Star Fleet Logo with stylized star. The logo moves up and down actuating the light switch.
If you have an illuminated light switch, the star will glow in the dark.
This works only with a toggle style single gang switch shown in the pictures.
It won't work with a rectangular style switch.
You will need a flat head screwdriver to mount the cover plate. Once it snaps in place the plate is mounted for good. !! Only !! snap the Logo plate onto the retaining plate during final assembly.
Once it snaps into place it only comes apart by breaking the retaining plate one try only. (It comes with one spare plate if you need a second try and we also sell them separate as well)

It is easy, but due to the nature of exposing a 110V switch only adults should perform the mounting of the face plate.
