DESCRIPTION
A pseudonym for a still unkown writer, "Junius" caused controversy in late Eighteenth Century London with a series of inflammatory letters to various influential figures and magazines. The letters here are an exchange between him and the British Army officer William Draper.
CONDITION
Rebound in cloth binding with decorative paper-covered boards. Externally very smart indeed, there ios only some very minor rubbing to extremities. Internally, the binding of the endpages is somewhat tender, but elsewhere the pages are firmly bound but are foxed throughout. Includes bookplate to pastedown.
