This Hasselblad Bay 50 Softar II filter is in great shape and ready for a new home. You will find some light marks on the front surface but they will honestly pose no threat towards performance, especially considering that this is a soft-focus style filter. This item does come in it's original box, with the filter in a hard plastic case for protection, and instructions for use of this item.
Zeiss Softars are special lenses with built-in mini-diffuser lenses. They are the optimum in soft focus lenses. In comparison with other diffusers, the Softars can be used at any aperture for greater depth of field without changing the softness, which is very important in portraiture. Zeiss Softars may be combined with each other and are available in three strengths: I, II, and III, with 3 having the softest effect.
