RJ45 Ethernet Cable for Broadband Internet
These cables are perfect for connecting your home or office devices to your broadband router. They are suitable for virtually any connection including POE (power over ethernet) as they are made from pure copper. These are suitable for ADSL or fibre Optic broadband including Virgin, SKY, BT Infinity and all other suppliers. Used to connect PC's, Laptops, TV's, Satellite boxes etc directly to the router. All devices connect using the same connector type (RJ45) so if you are connecting a device directly to your router for wired internet connection these are the correct cables.

Our ethernet cables are available in a range of lengths and colours to suit your home or office decor or for colour coding your network. They are also available in Cat5e or Cat6. At the moment Cat5e should be perfectly fine for any standard home user. Cat6 is capable of faster data transfer rates which may be of benfit if you have a lot of connections in your home or office or simply want to future proof your home / office network ever eveolving technology. However, please be aware that the faster transfer rates in cat6 cabling are achieved by tightly winding the copper cores. This results in a less flexible cable.

    • Please be aware that there are a huge number of poor quality network cables for sale on ebay. From the photo they may look the same as ours but we have seen many examples where the wire itslelf is nothing more stranded bare aluminium wire. This cannot be considered as cat5e and will result in high resistance and poorer transfer rates. Please be assured that when you buy from us you will receive a genuine UTP cable compliant with EIA/TIA-568B Category 5e
