DESCRIPTION

A very scarce work.

An interesting collection of pamphlets discussing the relationship between the church and state in America.

This era of American history was a time of evolution, sitting in between the period of the American Revolution and the Civil War.

These were articles taken from issues of the Church of Scotland magazine.

Written by John Gordon Lorimer, a diplomat, historian, and colonial administrator. He is best known for his encyclopedia, 'Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf, Oman and Central Arabia'.


CONDITION

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart. A couple of light marks to the boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned with a couple of very light spots to the first and last few pages.
