Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the silent film murder drama, THE WEAKER SEX, released in 1917 by the Triangle Film Corporation and directed by Raymond B. West. Produced by Thomas H. Ince, Jack Harding (Charles Ray), a wealthy ne'er-do-well, becomes involved with a Broadway vamp. When she is murdered, Jack is falsely accused of the crime and must turn for help to his lawyer--his wife.

The image features an interior long shot inside the office of District Attorney John Harding (Charles K. French) as he sits at a desk while Ruth Tilden (Dorothy Dalton), the daughter of an able jurist, talks to him while standing her her desk. Printed for the film's original 1917 US theatrical release, this vintage original lobby card is unrestored in fine- condition with signs of wear on each corner with additional wear on the top right corner; one pinhole in the top of the left border; a light 7.5 in. horizontal crease on the bottom left of the card just beneath the credits box which is quite unobtrusive; and a small smudge on the bottom border near the right corner.
