An attractive and substantial two-volume set bound in half leather and mottled paper-covered boards, spines with four raised bands, gilt lettering on morocco labels, and gilt detailing; bindings remain sound and firm, boards lightly rubbed with a little wear to extremities, spine lightly sunned; original printed front cover (paper) bound-in at front of each volume; both volumes sound internally, pages slightly age-toned else generally very clean and in good order.
