This is an antique colour postcard of Bali, Indonesia. It shows a beautiful view of the cremation of the Poenggawa van Singaradja (= Pungawa of Singaraja). This postcard was published by the K.P.M. = Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij = Royal Dutch Packet Company in the 1920s. So it is about one HUNDRED years OLD.  This kind of postcard used to be on top of the first class menu. A first class passenger could tear it off and send it away. This postcard is shown in the book INDONESIA 500 Early Postcards by Leo Haks and Steven Wachlin on page 223. However some brown aging on the back it does not affect the picture on the front side (see scan) and it is still a great collectible. Condition: good. This postcard should be in every Balinese or Indonesian collection. Buyer pays $ 3.00 for handling and worldwide shipping. Buyer of multiple items can save on shipping. Buyer of multiple items must wait for the invoice. Buyer must make his payment within 14 days. Please take a look in my eBay store to make your Bali, Indonesian or Asian collection complete.
