38.5" in height, 39" wide. There is one pull which is very hard to see and which could probably just be cut off with no visible effect, and the piece needs washing- but I'll leave that to you. It doesn't smell or anything, it just has a little dirt on it in spots.
From the feel of the fabric I'm guessing this piece was made in the 1970s.
