Bugler 5th U.S. Infantry Band, Jeweler Made Shooting Medal.  Capt. Blunt - author of Marksmanship Guide Book changed the Marksman collar buttons target from square to oval in 1885, known as the 2nd pattern.  I believe the badge is made of German silver.  Size:  1" Wide X 2-1/4" Long.
