This piece of jewelry is an unusual multi strand necklace in assorted glass and rocks. All three strands are different. The largest, focal strand features four large and round pieces of black lava rock. It's interesting to think about lava once being molten rock (magma) from within the earth's crust. It has holes in it because lava cools off quickly, trapping air and gas bubbles inside. Also in this strand are large, rounded edge, triangular and button beads of dark brown foiled art glass, Even the spacer beads are unusual...they are small brown art glass beads with a crackle cream ceramic finish on one side. Still on this strand are small triangular, decorative brass beads, and twisted tube glass beads in gold and copper. Second strand has goldtone filigree beads, faceted amber beads, small rose gold glass beads, and the same twisted tube glass beads as in first strand. Final strand has copper glass beads, twisted glass tube beads, and triangular brass beads. The brass toggle clasp has a flat bar and flat circle with one side imprinted with random letters and numbers. I spent a lot of time trying to make it say something. It doesn't! Stunning necklace is quite a conversation piece, and is in excellent condition. All strands are on coated wire for security. Comes in gift box.
