These are terrific original vintage Japanese faceted black glass beads.

These beads were all hand made.

These have a rough cut faceting and they have the original rich patina brass I-pin connectors.

The bead measures 8mm in size and are 14mm including the connector ends.

Tag says they came from Japan via the Overseas Commodity Corporation.

In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible.

I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect.

We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.

Brass usually discolors with age, and we do not clean before shipments
