This beautiful old cigar box was dated 1922. It was manufactured in Canada in both Toronto and Montreal. The exterior of the box seems to have been covered with paper designed to look like the light-weight wood (balsa wood?) that is usually the material used. The box appears to be cardboard with an exterior covering of this imitation wood paper.
The lithograph is without damage in its original deep rich colours and fonts.
The box is 8" x 51/4" x 2 1/2".
Please note, in the photos the left front corner of the box is torn. The inside of this area is still in- tact.
