Vintage Abingdon Trophy Vase with Handles in French Blue

1938-49 ABINGDON ART POTTERY URN--ALPHA VASE. What a GREAT FIND!! For those of you who are enamored with ART POTTERY pieces this is a wonderful item for your collection. This vase is unique as it is not marked with the (101) number like others are.

A glaze color in the Powder Blue. This color glaze is perfect for any color décor.

This vase is PERFECT even after all these years and is considered EXCELLENT CONDITION!! There is a little dimple near the top (see photos) … which was there when made … it is not a chip. It is clearly marked on the bottom with the ABINGDON ink stamp. The Abingdon Pottery was located in Abingdon, Illinois.

The bottom rim has years of build-up on it. I will clean that up the best I can with a little elbow grease and scouring pad. Most of that should come off and it will look even better.

The vase is 8 inches tall 4 1/2 inches at the top x 3 3/4 inches at the bottom rim.
