Hoya (HMC) 58mm Skylight 1B Multi-Coated Glass Filter

Due to its light pink color, the Hoya Skylight 1B (HMC) Multi-Coated Glass Filter reduces the bluish cast of daylight to produce a pleasing, warm picture tone. Wise initial investments, Skylight filters help protect your lens from dust, moisture, and scratches that can lead to costly repairs.

The filter is multi-coated to minimize reflections on the filter surfaces, reducing flare and ghosting.

Can be left on at all times for protection

Skylight filters correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light that can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details

Used to reduce the bluish cast common with some electronic flash units
