This spring mount has the following unusual selling features:

1.   It has rubberised ends (3mm) so can also be used as a foot or a pad mount.

2.   It has an M12 threaded hole in the upper plate, so can be fixed to the sprung load

3.   It uses a wire mesh tube within the spring to help prevent material from interfering with the spring's designed movement.

4.   It has an outer cowl which restricts lateral movement in one direction.  This can be used as a safety feature within an overall design (e.g help prevent collapse of a support structure should a machine be knocked by a forklift truck).  This cowl also helps product the springs from being knocked and damaged.

The larger footprint of this product is 147 x 130mm.

This type of product is used in many industrial applications including for metal punching machines, compressors, engines, pumps, air conditioning units, electrical appliances, machine tools.

Recommended Loading:

We recommend using the table within the images to identify or confirm which is the correct mount for your requirements.  If you require a shock related mount, we recommend seeking our assistance in product selection.

We do not recommend using these products in shear or in tension.  The product can tolerate shear deflection, but it is not a designed loading direction.
